“डॉ जोती सांगळे म्हणजे सुस्पष्ट व तर्कसंगत विचारांची, खंबीर, कणखर व्यक्ती. माणसं ओळखणारी व माणसांच्या मनातलं ओळखणारी. भावनांना प्रतिसाद देणारी पण त्यांत गुंतून न पडणारी. जीवनातल्या सर्व आघाड्या समर्थपणे सांभाळणारी. मी नायर रुग्णालयात चिकित्सक मानसशास्त्रज्ञ या पदावर असताना ती तिथे मानसोपचार शाखेची विद्यार्थिनी होती. तेव्हापासून मी तिला ओळखते. विद्यार्थिनी दशेत ती अत्यंत प्रामाणिक, मेहनती, कर्तव्यदक्ष, आपल्या कामात प्रवीण अशी होती. खणखणीत आवाजात, स्पष्ट शब्दात, मोकळ्या मनाने रुग्णांशी संवाद साधणारी अशी.आजही ती तशीच आहे. माझ्याकडे मदतीच्या अपेक्षेने आलेल्या प्रत्येक मनोरुग्णाला सुयोग्य उपचार मिळतील या विश्वासाने मी तिच्याकडे सुपूर्द करते. व ती तो विश्वास दर वेळी सार्थ करते. तिच्याबरोबर काम करताना कामाचा निर्मळ आनंद मिळतो. तिच्या पुढील यशस्वी वाटचालीसाठी माझ्या मनःपूर्वक शुभेच्छा.”
