“My brother has been diagnosed with schizophrenia about 5 years ago & despite consulting about 4-5 doctors , we could neither understand the illness nor help my brother effectively to enjoy life. We met Jyoti about an year & half ago. The best things about the way she treats is complete transparency, immediate help & integrity. While Jyoti & her mentor Dr. Prabhu, are medically one of the best doctors available in the country, the empathy & consideration they radiate is beyond words. With most doctors, I have seen hiding most critical information from the patient. With Jyoti, it has been the opposite. She has always made my brother & me aware of the treatment plans. As a human, it engraves trust & confidence when we know why we are doing about what we are doing. I recall 1 day after 1 year of treatment, I broke down into tears in front of her saying , “Have I done anything wrong? Are we back to Square 1? “ after an episode of my brother. I recall the soothing words she said, “It is completely okay to feel overwhelmed. We are not back to Square 1. He is going to be fine. Don’t blame yourself because schizophrenic triggers can happen due to anything. ” These words help me till date when I feel I am loosing control or feeling helpless.
She has also treated me for my anxiety disorder & guided me every now & then on taking mindful decisions. We have come a long way with Jyoti’s expertise, treatment procedure & constant counselling to keep us both on the path of growth both psychologically & professionally. Many of her patients with schizophrenia are living a well-off productive life & my brother is no exception.
For folks looking for help in mental health issues related to anxiety, depression, schizophrenia and many more mental disorders, I would highly recommend Jyoti. These issues are , unlike physical injuries are indeed “real” (although we don’t see blood) & need good care. We all need help at some point in life. But when the help comes from some one who is much more humane, kind & considerate, the sailing becomes much more easy,”
